New Poems

I REMEMBER

Your words were lies,

Your actions deceiving,

Your lips a portal

To the web you were weaving.

Your smile the lure

And I the fish–

A tasty morsel

On the angler’s dish.

In your cruel game

With its absence if rules,

You were the joker

And I the fool.

SHE-WOLF

No man is my master,

Nor shall he be.

Like the she-wolf,

I am free.

I fear not the darkness,

Nor bend my knee,

Nor hide from the storm,

For the storm is me.
